Questions

Quick answers

No. Buy it once through Gumroad and use it forever
Yes. On Windows and Linux, SkillKeeper runs as a Claude Code mod in the terminal. On a Mac you can use the menu bar app, the mod or both – one license works for each
The last 5 hours and 24 hours stay free for good. Week and month history, editing and the other actions need a one-time license
Yes, on two Macs. The license is checked once, at activation, and never again
SkillKeeper edits files across your home folder, and the Mac App Store sandbox doesn't allow that. So it's download-only
No. SkillKeeper never sees your skills or their contents. We only collect anonymous usage analytics (feature clicks, never file contents) to improve the app. See exactly what we collect
Yes, with a license: open Settings → Cloud sessions and paste the variables it gives you into your claude.ai/code environment, CI or server. Without that, only sessions on this Mac are counted – the limit bar still shows your whole account
No. SkillKeeper reads your session transcripts for one thing – which skill fired and when. Anything else in them, including a pasted key, is discarded as the file is read and never leaves your Mac
SkillKeeper reads skills from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI – one tool at a time. It counts tokens in all of them except Cursor
Yes. Free and paid are the same app, so they update together
